Angelica
I was born and raised here in Evansville, Indiana as the oldest of three girls by two young parents. I attended Culver Elementary School, Thompkins Middle School and then Graduated from North High School in 2014. I started college right after for nursing but just didn’t feel it was the right fit for me. I began CNA classes shortly after dropping out of college and continued that job all through my apprenticeship working nights until I became a full time piercer. I have an amazing partner named Michael and combined we have our perfect tiny human Eleanor, two dogs named Calcifer and Sophie and three cats named Miss Kitty, Flint and Ham. We love taking Eleanor on all of our adventures and doing things with her we never got to experience as kids and giving her the best memories we possibly can.
My Piercing Career
I have always been interested in the industry since I was young but didn’t start getting pierced until 2013 when I was able to pay for them myself. In 2015 Linda gave me the opportunity to work her front counter which got my foot in the door of learning jewelry and paperwork. 2016 I almost lost my opportunity of an apprenticeship but thankfully was given a second chance and took full advantage of it and was in with Linda everyday when I would get off of work from my night shift job. That same year I got licensed. In 2017 I got to go to my first APP conference in Vegas, we drove there and back, and I loved being able to meet so many amazing people and learn from so many great piercers in the industry. In 2018 I got the opportunity to do guest spots in Bountiful, Utah and Boston, Massachusetts. I got to attend my second APP conference in Vegas once again in 2019, this time we flew, and had just as much fun and learned just as much. I love doing any type of ear piercing but especially anything doubled or paired. My favorite piercing to do would have to be conches. They pull any ear project together.
